Getting Started

Where are your jobs located?
We have job listings all over the country including Alaska and Hawaii.

Do you pay per diem?
Yes, per diem is based on hours worked while away from home and, in some cases, on your location.

How long do I have to work?
You can set your own schedule and work as many or as few weeks as you like, depending on the job you choose.

What do I need to do to apply for a job with Dakota Med Temps?
Simply fill out the Quick Application form (on the right side of the site). And a recruiter will contact you to discuss jobs that are perfect for you.

Once You Have a Job

How do I get to the jobsite?
Depending on where you live and where your job is located, the staff at Dakota Med Temps will make travel arrangements for you to and from your job. In some instances, Dakota Med Temps will reimburse for mileage.  All travel arrangements will be negotiated in your contract.

Where do I stay?
Dakota Med Temps staff will also make arrangements for your housing while on assignment. We make every effort to provide clean and comfortable housing with all of the amenities of home including phone and internet hookup where available.

What about taxes?
Dakota Med Temps is required to withhold all federal payroll taxes and income tax for any state in which you work. If you have questions concerning state withholding requirements for non-resident employees, contact the Dept. of Revenue in the state where you are working (most states have information on their website). For further information, please contact your personal financial advisor.

Benefits

What benefits are available?
Dakota Med Temps offers primary coverage for health, vision, and dental benefits plus referral bonuses and an employer matched a SIMPLE IRA plan. We also offer several AFLAC supplemental insurance plans. All benefits are subject to employee eligibility. Once eligible, you may pick and choose what options you want to enroll in.

When am I eligible?
You will need to complete a 90-day evaluation period with Dakota Med Temps before benefits become available.  After the 90 day evaluation period, eligibility is based on continuing to work an average of 30 hours per week for Dakota Med Temps.
